While I also write mysteries and women’s fiction as Melissa Bourbon, my Ivy Cassidy books lean deeper into emotional resonance, ancestral secrets, and the mystical edge of the everyday. 

These stories live in the space between women’s fiction and magical realism, with a hint of mystery, where truths unfold like folklore and the magic isn’t always visible, but it’s always there.

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me walking my dogs, sipping something warm, and dreaming up stories with a little shimmer around the edges.
